What happened: Cornerback Zabien Brown and running back EJ Crowell moved from questionable on Friday's SEC availability report after exiting in the second quarter of last week's 26-10 loss to Tennessee with lower-body injuries. Starting center Racin Delgatty also dropped to doubtful after suffering an injury during Alabama's loss to Georgia and sitting out against the Volunteers. Wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, linebackers Desmond Umeozulu and Cayden Jones, defensive back Nick Sherman, and defensive linemen Jeremiah Beaman and Terrance Green will not play at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Why it matters: No. 13 Alabama enters on a two-game skid, while Texas A&M looks to rebound from SEC road losses at LSU and Missouri after shutting out The Citadel. Missing Delgatty in the middle complicates pass protection for Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell, and losing Crowell thins the backfield rotation. On defense, an undermanned Alabama secondary without Brown gives Aggies quarterback Marcel Reed a cleaner passing window.

By the numbers: Brown has recorded 19 tackles and four passes defended this season, while Crowell has totaled 216 rushing yards and four touchdowns. No. 13 Alabama stands at 5-2 overall following consecutive losses to Georgia and Tennessee, and Texas A&M enters at 4-3.

What to watch: Alabama hosts Texas A&M at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC. Final pregame warmups and the game-day availability update will determine whether Brown, Crowell, or Delgatty dress against the Aggies.
