What happened: Alabama wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams underwent arthroscopic surgery on his injured knee, per ESPN's Katie George and Pete Thamel. The procedure addresses a meniscus issue after Coleman-Williams briefly exited and returned during the Georgia game on Oct. 10.

Why it matters: The surgery leaves No. 7 Alabama without a key perimeter target during the October stretch of its regular-season schedule, including the Third Saturday matchup against No. 14 Tennessee. Alabama's passing attack will have to redistribute targets across its remaining wide receiver rotation while Coleman-Williams recovers.

What to watch: Alabama has not yet announced an official return date following the arthroscopic procedure.
