Obviously, a lot of questions, on the field and off, with this signing. Via @AlbertBreer on X

What happened: Sam McDowell of The Star first shared Wednesday's practice-squad agreement with Tucker. Breer stated that the move carries unresolved questions surrounding both on-field performance and off-field matters.

Why it matters: Kansas City holds the No. 1 seed at 5-1 after being held without a touchdown in a 20-3 loss at the Seattle Seahawks on Oct. 25. Using a practice-squad slot allows the club to evaluate the veteran kicker without immediately opening an active 53-man roster spot.

What to watch: Kansas City will determine whether to elevate Tucker to the active roster ahead of the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline.
