What happened: Alex Singleton is putting together a career-defining campaign in his eighth NFL season, per Troy Renck. The veteran linebacker was recently named AFC defensive player of the Month for October. His production anchors the defensive front midway through the 2026 regular season.

Why it matters: Singleton's tackle volume provides stability in the middle of the field following an October stretch that elevated him to the league lead in tackles. His defensive consistency has anchored the unit through a 5-2 start in 2026. That interior presence solidifies the lineup heading into November.

What to watch: Singleton looks to sustain his tackle pace through the second half of the 2026 season as defensive assignments intensify.
