What happened: Amen Thompson drove the lane and dropped a pass off to Clint Capela for a dunk through contact during 2026-27 NBA preseason play. Capela drew the foul on the interior finish to set up an and-one opportunity.

Why it matters: The sequence pairs Thompson's downhill playmaking with Capela's interior finishing as rotations take shape ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Thompson enters the upcoming season under a newly signed Sept. 3 extension.

What to watch: Preseason exhibition action continues as lineups finalize before opening night of the 2026-27 regular season.
