What happened: Anass Zaroury netted his first goal for the Columbus Crew in Wednesday night's victory over Charlotte. The decisive strike helped secure the regular-season result for the Black and Gold.

Why it matters: The breakthrough marks a milestone for the Moroccan winger signed on loan in early September. Adding a reliable scoring threat on the wing strengthens the attack ahead of late-season fixtures.

What to watch: Columbus turns its focus to upcoming MLS regular-season action and an Open Cup match scheduled for October 21.
