What happened: Former cornerback Aqib Talib responded to Ryan Fitzpatrick's Thursday night postgame criticism of Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. Fitzpatrick had called Nix's recent play disrespectful to the quarterback position and questioned his competitiveness.

Why it matters: The exchange underscores growing scrutiny around Denver's passing attack even as the team wins games. The Broncos sit at 4-2 after an overtime victory that produced a Sean Payton-era low of 168 total yards.

What to watch: Denver prepares for Week 7 looking to stabilize its offensive output around Nix while maintaining its 4-2 start.
