What happened: On Ariel Helwani Show, host Ariel Helwani said Sean O'Malley sits first in line to face Petr Yan, stating, "Obviously he is going to be next." On Ariel Helwani Show, Helwani said the bout with Yan has to happen next while previewing O'Malley's guest appearance on the afternoon broadcast.

Why it matters: The host's endorsement on Ariel Helwani Show aligns with the same Sean O'Malley who said Daniel Cormier messaged him to back his bantamweight title shot. O'Malley's camp has campaigned for the Yan matchup while objecting to calls for Song Yadong to receive the championship opportunity.

What to watch: O'Malley's interview on Tuesday's program is scheduled to follow segments with SBG coach John Kavanagh and Dakota Ditcheva.
