What happened: AS Monaco defender Eric Dier will miss the scheduled match against FC Lorient due to a muscular issue that also kept him out of the midweek trip to CSKA Sofia in the UEFA Europa Conference League. Stanis Idumbo is also sidelined after leaving the match in Bulgaria with an injury, while Paris Brunner is unavailable due to suspension.

Why it matters: With Dier unavailable at the back, Mohammed Salisu returns from an ACL injury to partner Sadibou Sané in central defense ahead of goalkeeper Lukas Hradecky. Up front, Matthis Abline enters the projected lineup in place of Brunner alongside Aleksandr Golovin, Mathys Detourbet, and Edan Diop against FC Lorient.

What to watch: Nazinho and Vanderson are slated to flank the back line while Denis Zakaria and Lamine Camara anchor the midfield when AS Monaco and FC Lorient kick off.
