What happened: ESPN's Nicole Auerbach listed Tennessee, Wake Forest, Ohio State and UCLA fans as the most upset over the first College Football Playoff rankings. She put herself fifth, for getting angry after telling herself not to.

Why it matters: Wake Forest is 7-1 with its lone loss to No. 1 Miami, and the committee placed it at No. 16. Tennessee sits at No. 13 and UCLA at No. 8, while Indiana is No. 4 and Alabama No. 5.

What to watch: Wake Forest faces Virginia in its next ACC game, with the ACC title path still open.
