What happened: Shakira Austin finished with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists in Washington's 110-80 final. Her 20 points were the game high.

Why it matters: The performance gives Washington another strong Austin outing during its 2026 postseason push. It came a day after Austin paced an efficient outing against the Sparks, keeping her at the center of the Mystics' attack.

What to watch: The next question is whether Austin can carry the same scoring load into Washington's next postseason game. If she does, the Mystics will have a reliable focal point on the offensive end.
