What happened: Azzi Fudd currently leads all WNBA guards in blocks per game this season, and she leads all WNBA rookies in both blocks and steals per game. The Dallas Wings highlighted the numbers while urging fans to vote her into the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game before voting closes June 27.

Why it matters: The defensive profile widens the case for Fudd's expanding role in Dallas, showing impact on both ends rather than as a pure shooter. A rookie pacing all guards in blocks is unusual and strengthens her standing in a crowded All-Star backcourt field.

What to watch: WNBA All-Star voting closes June 27; watch whether Fudd's two-way numbers earn her a spot on the Chicago roster.
