What happened: Baker Mayfield spoke before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' home opener on Sunday. The quarterback stated that the team would be "juiced up" for the matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Why it matters: Mayfield is facing his former team shortly after agreeing to a three-year, $165 million contract extension. The deal keeps the two-time Pro Bowler off the 2027 free-agent market.

By the numbers: The Buccaneers held a 6-3 advantage over the Browns while the game was in progress. Chase McLaughlin led all scorers with six points.

What to watch: Tampa Bay will attempt to improve upon its 2-2 record as the game continues.
