What happened: Atlanta Falcons safety Jessie Bates reflected on a chaotic Sunday showing, calling it the craziest game of his career. Bates delivered a crucial defensive play by stripping the ball near the goal line for a touchback. His effort helped offset a four-interception performance from quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Why it matters: The goal-line takeaway underscored the resilience of an Atlanta defense tasked with bailing out offensive miscues. Limiting damage after turnovers remains vital for Atlanta as the team navigates tight conference standings. Bates' veteran leadership continues to steady the secondary in high-leverage moments.

What to watch: The Falcons look to clean up ball security and build consistency when they resume their regular-season schedule next week.
