What happened: Baylor dominated UCF 41-9 on Saturday in Joe Klanderman's first game as interim head coach. Quarterback DJ Lagway threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns as the Bears controlled the game on both sides of the ball.

Why it matters: The blowout came five days after Baylor fired football coach Dave Aranda following a disappointing start to the season. The emphatic victory provides immediate stability for the program under interim leadership.

What to watch: Baylor continues its conference schedule next week as Klanderman looks to build momentum in the interim role.
