What happened: Chicago is signing Eziomume back after his Aug. 16 waiver with an injury settlement. He is now fully healthy and returning to Chicago. He earned Academic All-Conference honors at Tulane in 2025.

Why it matters: Chicago keeps added depth at cornerback with a familiar option. The return preserves continuity in the secondary room during the regular season.

What to watch: Watch for the corresponding roster move to make the addition official.
