What happened: Chicago controlled the matchup against the defending champions on the road, overcoming an early fumble to dictate the tempo. Williams galvanized the sideline throughout the second half and proclaimed postgame that the team is officially back.

Why it matters: The victory positions the Bears firmly in the NFC playoff hunt at the midway mark of the 2026 campaign. Knocking off a marquee conference opponent away from home validates Chicago's offensive progression under Williams after navigating quarterback uncertainty earlier in the season.

What to watch: Chicago heads into the second half of the schedule aiming to protect its standing in a crowded conference race. The coaching staff will review the tape to refine execution ahead of next week's matchup.
