What happened: Chicago is adding Miller to its practice squad, per Adam Schefter. The move reunites Chicago with Miller, released in August.

Why it matters: Practice-squad veterans give Chicago a ready elevation option without using an active-roster spot. The signing keeps receiver depth flexible during the regular season.

What to watch: Watch whether Chicago elevates Miller for game day or keeps him as practice depth.
