What happened: The medical episode occurred roughly 10 minutes after takeoff, per Josh Yohe. Onboard personnel administered oxygen before clearing Kindel for the return trip, prompting Chris Johnston to call the incident frightening.

Why it matters: Kindel moved to injured reserve Thursday following the in-flight scare, taking him out of the active regular-season lineup. Immediate clearance for return travel allowed him to head back with the club rather than remaining hospitalized on the road.

What to watch: Club medical staff will oversee further evaluation while Kindel remains on injured reserve.
