Bengals placed DT B.J. Hill on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: The designation bars the defensive tackle from practicing while allowing him to attend meetings and other team activities. He remains on Cincinnati's 90-man roster.

Why it matters: Hill can be activated at any point during training camp. If the designation remains at final cuts, Cincinnati must move him to reserve/PUP, release or trade him, or carry him on the 53-man roster.

What to watch: Cincinnati's first public practice is July 29, making Hill's clearance status the next checkpoint.
