What happened: Cincinnati placed the 2024 fourth-round pick out of Iowa on injured reserve Tuesday with what is believed to be a torn ACL, per Ian Rapoport, after a right knee injury ruled him out during Sunday's 35-13 road victory. To fill the roster spot, the Bengals signed fourth-year tight end Cam Grandy off Minnesota's practice squad.

Why it matters: The transaction further tests tight end depth for a 4-2 Cincinnati squad holding the AFC's No. 7 seed just eight days after the Bengals placed another tight end on injured reserve on Oct. 19. Grandy, an Illinois State product, brings existing familiarity with the system after catching two passes for seven yards across five games with the Bengals in 2025, per ESPN.

By the numbers: Erick All Jr. Cincinnati holds a 4-2 record on a two-game winning streak following its 35-13 win on Oct. 25, while Grandy departs a 6-0 Minnesota team holding the NFC's No. 1 seed after a 16-10 victory on Sunday.

What to watch: With Grandy on the 53-man roster, Cincinnati will redistribute tight end snaps and blocking assignments heading into its next regular-season matchup.
