What happened: Cincinnati sits 3-2 coming off its bye, one game behind three 4-2 AFC North rivals. The proposal pairs corner Cam Hart with Cincinnati coordinator Al Golden to reinforce the secondary. Hart entered the league as a 2024 fifth-round pick and played 16 games for Los Angeles in 2025.

Why it matters: Cincinnati remains in the division race despite sitting last, making a low-cost addition logical. Los Angeles opened 0-6, the profile of a team that could move young veterans before the deadline. A corner still on a rookie contract would address depth without altering the core rotation.

What to watch: Watch whether Cincinnati adds secondary help before the deadline and whether Los Angeles makes young defenders available.
