What happened: The Cincinnati Bengals are profiling Cris Collinsworth as part of a retrospective on their 12 Ring of Honor nominees. The team noted that Collinsworth made three Pro Bowls and posted four 1,000-yard seasons before retiring as the franchise's all-time leading receiver.

Why it matters: The nominee profile is the latest in the Bengals' Ring of Honor series, which has also spotlighted running back James Brooks among the same 12 nominees. Honoring Collinsworth ties one of the most productive pass-catchers in club history to the franchise's formal recognition of its all-time greats.

What to watch: Watch for the Bengals to continue rolling out the remaining nominee profiles ahead of the Ring of Honor selection.
