What happened: Braxton Berrios announced he is out for the season and will have foot surgery. He signed with the New York Giants in September.

Why it matters: The loss removes a depth receiver from New York's roster mix. Berrios entered the league as New England's sixth-round pick in 2018 at No. 210 out of Miami.

By the numbers: Berrios caught 6 passes for 37 yards in 4 games in 2025 with the Texans.

What to watch: New York must now fill the open receiver depth spot on the active roster and practice squad.
