What happened: Yahoo Sports published Bill Barnwell's valuation scale for what NFL quarterbacks would fetch in first-round-pick equivalents if their teams entertained trade offers. Drake Maye slots at 6 on the scale, one tier below the top mark of 7 shared by Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.

Why it matters: The ranking places Maye among the league's highest-valued young quarterbacks entering his third season as New England's starter. The Patriots have spent the offseason fielding trade proposals for role players like Kayshon Boutte and DeMario Douglas, while their quarterback situation draws no such speculation.

What to watch: Maye continues offseason workouts ahead of training camp, with the Patriots' next 'Forged in Foxborough' episode set for July 17.
