What happened: The Toronto Blue Jays posted a brief goodnight message to their fans, capping off the night on social media. The note continued the club's pattern of light, fan-facing engagement away from the field.

Why it matters: Posts like this keep the fan base engaged during a stretch in which the Blue Jays sit at 39-45 and have dropped six straight. With the club trying to steady its season, the off-field tone aims to keep supporters connected through a rough run.

What to watch: Attention turns to the Blue Jays' scheduled matchup with the New York Mets and whether Toronto can snap its losing streak.
