Longtime Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham announced Tuesday that he is retiring from the NFL, again. St Via @AdamSchefter on X

What happened: Graham said Tuesday he is “officially done” after returning from his first retirement last October. He played nine games during his final run with Philadelphia in 2025.

Why it matters: His exit removes a potential veteran addition from the Eagles’ 2026 edge rotation. Graham won two Super Bowls and delivered the fourth-quarter strip-sack that helped seal Philadelphia’s Super Bowl LII title.

By the numbers: Graham made a franchise-record 215 regular-season appearances and played 13 postseason games. He totaled 79.5 regular-season sacks and 23 forced fumbles, adding 5.5 playoff sacks.

What to watch: Philadelphia’s revamped edge rotation gets its first regular-season test in the season opener.
