What happened: Four Canadians in the Milwaukee Brewers organization marked the 2026 World Series title together, including special assistant to the general manager Doug Melvin of Chatham, Ontario, and Taylor Green. Baseball Canada highlighted the group after Milwaukee won the championship.

Why it matters: Melvin built Brewers rosters as general manager before moving to his current front-office role. The title gives the organization's Canadian contingent a shared championship.

What to watch: The Brewers turn to the offseason, with the labor deal set to expire Dec. 1.
