What happened: Milwaukee Brewers pitcher Aaron Ashby leads all of MLB with 11 victories this season, a rare distinction for a reliever. The win total is notable because no pitcher has ever recorded 20 victories in a single season working solely out of the bullpen.

Why it matters: Reliever wins are often viewed skeptically as a performance measure, since they can hinge on timing rather than length of outing. Still, leading the entire league outright puts a spotlight on Ashby and a Milwaukee bullpen anchoring a team that has been one of the National League's best.

What to watch: Watch whether Ashby keeps padding the total and how close a full-time reliever can push toward the unprecedented 20-win threshold.
