What happened: Logan Henderson stepped onto the pitching rubber well ahead of first pitch to check the mound before his scheduled postseason start. The matchup between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers has not started yet, with the score at 0-0.

Why it matters: Henderson takes the ball for a key October outing while the Milwaukee Brewers lead the series 1-0. Checking the field hours in advance gives the starting pitcher an opportunity to gauge the mound slope and sightlines before pregame crowds arrive.

What to watch: Official lineups and pregame warmups will precede first pitch between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers.
