What happened: Jake Bauers fouled off six straight pitches in a 12-pitch walk against Yoshinobu Yamamoto to load the bases. Christian Yelich followed with a two-run single up the middle that ended Yamamoto's outing.

Why it matters: Milwaukee entered play leading the series 1-0. Removing the starter early shifts the workload to the bullpens.

What to watch: Watch whether Milwaukee holds the 3-2 margin through the middle innings.
