What happened: George pushed in transition and hit the same AJ Dybantsa who connected with Anthony Davis on Oct. 10 for the finish in the first quarter. The sequence came in Brooklyn-Washington preseason action carried on NBA League Pass.

Why it matters: The game does not count in the standings. Preseason possessions guide rotation decisions before the 2026-27 season.

What to watch: Both teams continue preseason schedules with cuts and rotation order to settle.
