What happened: Milwaukee tied the game in the fifth inning of its October matchup. The home crowd reacted loudly as the tying run scored.

Why it matters: A middle-inning tie keeps postseason leverage on Milwaukee with the bullpens yet to shape the finish. Milwaukee, which clinched a postseason berth in mid-September, is playing for a deeper October run.

What to watch: The next innings will test both bullpens with the score level. Milwaukee will look to push ahead before late-inning matchups tighten.
