What happened: Heavy.com pitched Tennessee's Pro Bowl back as a fit for Denver during the 2026 regular season. No deal or talks were reported, only the outside suggestion.

Why it matters: Denver's ground production shapes possessions through the regular-season stretch. A veteran addition would redistribute backfield touches without a scheme reset.

What to watch: Watch whether Tennessee opens veterans to offers as the standings clarify. Denver's backfield rotation in coming weeks will signal if interest develops.
