What happened: Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson cleared the league concussion protocol on Saturday. The team designated Watson inactive after he managed limited practice participation during weekly preparation. The offensive reins turn to Shedeur Sanders for the road tilt.

Why it matters: The transition gives Sanders an immediate opportunity to direct the Cleveland offense in regular season action while Watson works toward full clearance. Cleveland aims to stabilize its quarterback position following Watson's injury exit.

What to watch: The Browns visit the New Orleans Saints with kickoff scheduled for Sun Nov 8 at 1:00 PM ET.
