What happened: Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. is slated to return to action on Sunday, head coach Todd Monken announced. Hall returned to practice this week following an ankle injury suffered in Week 4. The interior lineman was previously ruled out in early October while rehabilitating.

Why it matters: Hall's return restores defensive line depth as Cleveland looks to build on its 5-2 start. The Browns currently hold the No. 3 seed in the AFC following consecutive victories. Bolstering the interior front strengthens a defense preparing for the second half of the regular season.

By the numbers: Hall recorded 11 tackles and 1.5 sacks in nine games during the 2025 season after Cleveland selected him 54th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Browns enter Week 8 at 5-2 after securing a 27-24 road victory on Oct. 25.

What to watch: Cleveland will manage Hall's snap count and rotational workload on Sunday in his first game action in a month.
