What happened: Cleveland Browns wide receiver KC Concepcion returned to practice in a limited capacity while remaining in the concussion protocol. The head injury followed a hit from New York Jets safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in Sunday's game that ruled Concepcion out that day.

Why it matters: Concepcion was selected 24th overall in the 2026 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M as a first-round addition to the Cleveland offense. Remaining in protocol keeps his game availability unresolved while the Browns continue preparations for the week.

By the numbers: Fitzpatrick recorded 82 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception in 14 games in 2025 (per ESPN, as of Sept. 29, 2026).

What to watch: Full participation and clearance from protocol are the next markers for his game availability.
