What happened: Per Boston Hockey Now, Boston is seeking a new home for Henri Jokiharju. The defenseman cleared waivers before the interest surfaced.

Why it matters: Clearing waivers gives Boston flexibility to assign him or move him for a return. A deal would trim the blue-line logjam entering the 2025-26 season.

What to watch: Watch for a deal or assignment ahead of opening night.
