Expectations/timelines are a funny thing. Wish we viewed this Bryce Young arc as par for course. 4th yr, 25yrs old & Via @BenFennell_NFL on X

What happened: Bryce Young is 25 and in his fourth NFL season, with improved comfort tied to coaching continuity and scheme growth. The timeline notes he entered the league at 21, while some college quarterbacks are still finding comfort at 24.

Why it matters: Fourth seasons typically set contract and roster evaluations for former No. 1 picks. Stability in staff and system is the variable most tied to sustained quarterback efficiency.

By the numbers: Drafted No. 1 overall in 2023 out of Alabama. In 2025 across 16 games: 304 of 478 for 3,011 yards, 23 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

What to watch: Watch whether that comfort holds through the rest of the 2026 regular season.
