What happened: Braswell was entering his third NFL season after Tampa Bay selected him out of Alabama in 2024. He worked in a reserve defensive role and on special teams during the 2025 opener.

Why it matters: The move opens an edge spot as Tampa Bay sets its initial roster for the upcoming season. The club spent the No. 15 pick on Rueben Bain Jr. in April, adding another young option.

By the numbers: Braswell recorded 20 solo tackles and one sack in 2025.

What to watch: Attention turns to which edge rushers claim the remaining spots on Tampa Bay's initial 53-man roster.
