What happened: The Milwaukee Bucks formally welcomed Brayden Burries, confirming the guard as a Milwaukee Buck. The move follows his selection at No. 10 in the 2026 NBA Draft, where he drew strong reviews for his pre-draft work.

Why it matters: Burries is the first player Milwaukee has drafted into its post-Giannis era, making him a cornerstone of the franchise's reset heading into the 2026-27 season. How quickly he develops will shape the timeline of the rebuild.

What to watch: Watch for Burries' Summer League debut and his role in Milwaukee's reshaped rotation as the 2026-27 season approaches.
