What happened: The Chicago Bulls announced Saturday they have signed All-Star guard Norman Powell. The team confirmed the move directly, welcoming Powell to Chicago.

Why it matters: The announcement formalizes the two-year, $45 million agreement Powell reached with Chicago earlier in the offseason. Powell gives the Bulls an established scoring option as the roster takes shape for 2026-27.

What to watch: Chicago continues building out its roster around Powell ahead of the 2026-27 season.
