What happened: BYU ruled out eight football players for its game against TCU.

Why it matters: That many absences at once can force rotation changes and test depth across multiple position groups. Availability news this late in the week can also alter how both teams handle the matchup.

What to watch: Watch for any last-minute changes to the availability list and how BYU distributes snaps with eight players sidelined.
