What happened: Chelsea midfielder Moisés Caicedo publicly acknowledged the team's inconsistency this season, telling reporters they have not been playing well or doing the right things. He framed the recent run as a learning moment for the squad and said the focus now is on finishing the campaign well. The comments came with three Premier League matchweeks remaining.

Why it matters: Caicedo's admission lands as Chelsea fight for a strong league finish in the closing stretch of the 2025-26 Premier League season. A senior midfielder owning up to underperformance signals internal pressure to lift form before the final whistle on the campaign. It also echoes his earlier remarks the same day about needing a strong finish.

What to watch: Watch Chelsea's response over the final three Premier League matchweeks and whether Caicedo's leadership translates into improved results. Team selection and intensity in the next fixture will be the immediate tell.
