What happened: Knecht shot 4-of-6 from the field to provide efficient scoring in his first appearance for New York. The performance came after the wing became a free agent following his waiver by Los Angeles on Oct. 19.

Why it matters: The blowout victory earned New York its second consecutive win to stabilize its position at the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference. Knecht's immediate production offers bench scoring and wing rebounding depth for a rotation navigating early-season adjustments.

What to watch: New York seeks to build on its consecutive victories as Knecht continues to settle into regular second-unit minutes.
