What happened: Owen Caissie extended the Miami Marlins' lead in the fourth inning on Thursday, launching a two-run home run to right field at loanDepot park. Caissie connected on an 89.3 mph slider from Ryne Nelson, driving the ball 370 feet with a 110.2 mph exit velocity to put Miami up 3-0.

Why it matters: The blast marks Caissie's sixth home run of the season as he continues to solidify his role in the Marlins' young outfield. Miami has won six of its last seven games and looks to maintain its momentum in the NL East following a strong victory over Washington earlier this season. The market moved toward Miami after the early scoring, reflecting the team's recent offensive surge.

What to watch: The Marlins will look to protect the three-run advantage as the game moves into the middle innings. Arizona remains within striking distance as they attempt to solve the Miami pitching staff.
