What happened: Caitlin Clark secured one of the five spots on the 2026 All-WNBA First Team ballot announced Saturday. The honor completes a historic First Team backcourt sweep for the franchise alongside her starting guard partner.

Why it matters: Sweeping both the September Associated Press ballot and the league's top postseason honor cements Clark as the centerpiece of the franchise's title window. Player representatives are already weighing how the organization's profile around its star guard will factor into roster building.

What to watch: Focus now turns to the 2027 WNBA free-agency period as the front office looks to reinforce the roster around Clark.
