What happened: Guard Cam Christie is returning to the Los Angeles Clippers on a two-way NBA contract after clearing waivers, per ESPN's Shams Charania. The signing comes two days after the Clippers waived the 2024 second-round pick just before his October 15 contract guarantee date.

Why it matters: Shifting the 21-year-old to a two-way slot lets Los Angeles keep him in the program for the 2026-27 season while opening a standard 15-man roster spot. The front office had twice delayed his guarantee deadline in July to evaluate him through Summer League and training camp.

What to watch: Christie will divide the 2026-27 season between the Clippers and their G League affiliate as Los Angeles locks in its final regular-season roster.
