What happened: Malaki Starks stated that no team in the league holds more faith in its backup quarterback than his locker room has in Tyler Huntley as he prepares for a second straight start. Starks also pointed to the consistent energy the former Utah standout brings to the roster.

Why it matters: Now in his seventh NFL season, Huntley brings veteran poise and proven efficiency whenever called upon. During the 2025 campaign, he completed 52 of 67 passes for 426 yards and two touchdowns across five appearances, giving his teammates tangible reasons to trust his command of the offense.
