What happened: Jordan framed training camp around one question: "How can we get to the best version of us?" The veteran returned on a one-year contract for his 16th NFL season.

Why it matters: His return preserves a veteran anchor for a unit that improved late in 2025. Staley now must turn that progress into steadier production across the upcoming season.

What to watch: Training camp will show how Jordan's role develops as the defense adds another year in Staley's system.
